We hired Nate from Frontier to be the GC on an extensive remodel of our newly purchased lake home. Nate was honest, trustworthy, had excellent judgment and taste, and completed the project on time and with the utmost professionalism. Nate has excellent relationships with top quality subs. The project turned out stellar in every way. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

We wanted to open up our 115 year old quaint cottage by removing a wall and updating the kitchen. Our goal was to maintain the character of the home, downsize the large appliances, and upgrade the appearance of the home by making it more attractive. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. We especially appreciated being listened to and receiving solid suggestions since we were doing our own design. We felt that Frontier was in sync with our standards and together, we accomplished our goal with perfection.

Frontier has excellent attention to detail, quality and service and these are just a few of the many reasons we enjoy collaborating with them. We have consistently great experiences from start to finish and it makes all the difference in the end result and exceeding our clients’ expectations. Nate and Jeremy are wonderful to work with and we look forward to many more projects and success stories together.

The people at Frontier could not have been more professional or helpful to our family. We met with Nate and Jeremy with nothing more than a picture of what we wanted and they worked diligently to try and make our vision a reality. They were extremely organized and upfront about all costs and possible delays and worked hard on even the smallest details. When something arose, they were quick to communicate with us so that we always knew where the project stood. I don't believe we could have made a better decision than hiring Frontier. I can truthfully say that they went above and beyond for us...... both the little things and the large things were well taken care of. We feel blessed to know them!

Our project was a great success. It far exceeded our family's expectations. Our project consisted of adding a deck and remodeling the great room off the new deck. During the project estimation process Nate tactfully suggested several great ideas which we thought highly of, these ideas made a huge difference in the end result of the project. The bid was detailed, accurate and appropriate to the work to be completed. And best of all the work was completed by the proposed deadline. The staff was courteous and respectful and provided quality work. The communication between Nate, his staff and me was excellent, I was always informed of the project status, they addressed my questions and addressed any issues or concerns I had. I felt at ease throughout the process because of the people I was working with. I highly recommend Nate J. and his Frontier team.

Relationship: Nate was the superintendant on our newly constructed house project

Project Date: October 2015

Project Price: more than $100,000

Nate was the job Superintendent on our newly constructed house project and we were very thankful that he was with us throughout the two year project. Nate's attention to detail and quality workmanship is part of his DNA. He was always there to answer our questions and to make sure that we were satisfied with the end product. He even walked me through some panic moments a month after we closed with a houseful of people on Thanksgiving Day. I would highly recommend Nate from both a personal and professional level.

Nate was the superintendent of our new house project 10 years ago. We have continued to employ him for various projects because we trust his professionalism and knowledge of the building and maintenance process. We thoroughly trust him and his ability to find the best solution for our needs. His loyalty and integrity are of the highest degree. We look forward to working with Nate for a remodel project in the near future!

I hired Nate to take our dull tile fireplace surround and make it vibrant. He did so with a gorgeous stone surround and hearty old barn wood mantle. Our fireplace is now the striking centerpiece of our home. Nate's work was superb! He proved to be a great listener and met the agreed upon timeline.

Relationship: We worked with Nate at his prior company

Project Date: November 2013

Project Price: more than $100,000

We built a modern farm house three years ago and Nate was the project manager for us. This was an architect design home with unique and superior amenities, and all of it came out better than we had imagined. Nate provided a high quality customer experience and did a great job of keeping us informed of our progress and decisions needed throughout the process. His follow up is prompt and always with a smile. If there was an issued he made sure it was resolved quickly and in our favor. Thank you Nate!

Nate Jurmu of Frontier did a remodel project for us last fall. Our final project turned out beautiful! It was finished on schedule and slightly under budget. I appreciated the quality of the work and also the good, timely and responsive communication that Nate always provided. He responded to emails and phone calls promptly, arrived when he said he was coming and worked to coordinate all the different components to our project so that the job could be completed as scheduled. He is professional and easy to work with. Couldn't be happier. I recommend this company. Thanks Nate.

Frontier has done a great job for our sunroom, mudroom, and deck addition project. It is a great success. We are so glad to have chosen Nate as our contractor. He is trustworthy, honest, and has excellent judgment and taste. He did a great job bringing about the vision we had for our home’s addition. There are few things we would like to point out: Frontier really listened to us regarding our needs and in working out a budget. Nate worked out very detailed bids, and he was patient with all our questions. Our total project cost was very close to the bid, so we are happy that the project turned out what we wanted and within our budget. Also, our communication with Nate, Tanner, and his subs was pleasant. Everyone was professional, patient, and responsive to our questions and needs. Attention to detail is another strength of Frontier. They don’t miss any little things. Getting work done on time is another thing by which we were impressed by Frontier. Despite the weather conditions and busy construction season, our various aspects of our project were complete very close to schedule. Again, we are exceptionally happy with Frontier. We are looking forward to working with them again.

Nate and his crew are professional, trustworthy and detail-oriented. They completed a partial kitchen re-model and built a custom bar for our dining room. We were so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the woodwork.

We are always considering ways to increase the performance of the homes we building and remodel. One method of building that significantly increases the efficiency and value of a home is to use Structural Insulated Panels (SIP).

What Are SIPs?

SIP panels are the building material for the 21st Century Structural insulated panels (SIPs) are a high performance building system for residential and light commercial construction. The panels consist of an insulating foam core sandwiched between two structural facings, typically oriented strand board (OSB). SIPs are manufactured under factory controlled conditions and can be fabricated to fit nearly any building design. The result is a building system that is extremely strong, energy efficient and cost effective. Building with SIPs will save you time, money and labor.

Are Structural Insulated Panels More Expensive?

Building with SIPs generally costs about the same as building with wood frame construction when you factor in the labor savings resulting from shorter construction time and less jobsite waste. Other savings are realized because smaller heating and cooling systems are required with SIP construction.
